Huntersfield Equestrian Centre (HEC) is owned and run by the Van den Berg's and is now located in Faringdon, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. We offer a wide range of Equestrian services, including top quality Schooling, Livery, Lessons, Pony Camps and hacking. Mrs Sam van den Berg (International Level 2 Qualified  Instructor - BHS Approved), together with her husband, Nico van den Berg, friendly assistants and lovely surroundings, will ensure that your Equestrian experience is one not to forget.

We have relocated from South Africa in 2009, where we ran a very large successful Equestrian Centre, back to England where Sam originally grew up and developed the passion for horses. We are offering the same top quality individual attention to each and every client, irrespective their equestrian aspirations and needs.

Sam has over 25 years of Equestrian Experience in all disciplines, she herself has been actively training clients horses, teaching, competing and judging Showjumping, Dressage, Eventing, Equitation and Showing at all levels and was very active with the Pony Club and SANEF examining and preparing candidates for the pony club proficiency tests, horse-mastership and SANEF teaching exams (BHS stages equivalent).

Huntersfield is renown for friendly, professional and dedicated service and Sam has a gift for working with non conventional horses and children! So if you have a horse that needs help or wish to learn anything from working with horses to riding and training them you have come to the right place!

Not only is Sam a fully qualified Instructor, she is also on the British Horse Society Register of Instructors, which includes being CRB checked, kept continualy up to date and regularly attending courses for Safeguarding and Protecting Children and keeping up to date and qualified in Equine Specific First Aid.

No equipment necessary, hats provided. Just put on your stretchy long leggings, shoes with a heel and you are set for a lovely day in the Vale of White Horse, one of the most picturesque area's in England.
